Your Credit Card Processing rates just went up again!

MC Announces a rate INCREASE ON all transactions over $1000.00

MasterCard has announced as a late addition to their April price changes an additional assessment fee for all transactions over $1000.00. Effective April 1st, 2011, all processors will incur an additional .01% fee on all MasterCard transactions over $1,000.00.

To make sure you are getting the most cost effective processing, we recommend the following:

• Review your current processing program, and understand how you are priced and the terms of your agreement.
   
• Review and understand your month end credit card processing statement each month. Processing companies are required to notify you of any price changes 30 days prior to the change. Most companies post this notification as a note to your statement. Review these notes, and compare any increase you receive to the actual Interchange increases from the card associations. • If you are paying Mid Qualified or Non Qualified transaction fees on your statement, we recommend switching to an Interchange Pass Through plan, like our Straight Rate Plan.
